7/23/2014 - 7/31/2014 Visit With Nikki and Family

We arrived at Aces High RV Campground on 7/23/2014. http://aceshighrvpark.com/   It was a nice campground with several rules for access.  It turned out the rules were not enforced strictly.

The first night Jason was working in Groton for the night.  We took Crown Pizza over to Nikki's home and visited with the Nikki, Sean, Emily, and Allison. The Taco Pizza was delicious.

The next day we visited with the Family and saw Jason after work.  We met at Buffalo Wild Wings and later had Cowlicks Yogurt.  All were great.

Nikki ran errands Friday morning.  We all went to see the movie Planes 2 in the afternoon.  As you can see it was a luxury theater by Regal.  We all enjoyed sitting in the comfortable seats.

On Saturday we attended Sean's Baseball game in New Haven.  Sean plays for the Heat.  After a long day we ate pizza at Pizza Works.  This restaurant was along the Amtrak route from New York to Boston, the restaurant appropriately had a train theme.  There were several trains running along the wall.  Outside the real trains passed as we ate.

Sunday we stayed with the girls while Sean was busy playing a fun baseball game with his teammates.  We spent the afternoon with the girls playing Phase 10 and Deer in the Headlights.  Nikki and Sean returned to the motorhome, and later they all went home.

Monday Robert and Brenda went to the Groton Sub Base to get Robert's new military retired ID.  It is required when age 65 is reached.  After getting the ID we went to the Sub Base Exchange.  We got some items while there.  Later we joined Nikki and the Children and went to Launch in Warwick, RI. We spent the afternoon there and the children had fun bouncing about.  On our way back home we met Jason at Margarita in Mystic.  Afterwards we went to Watch Hill in Westerly, RI.  This is also the location of Taylor Swift's home.

Wednesday, Greg Cioci and Mr Clark visited.  Mr Clark showed us his motohome years ago when we were thinking of getting a motorhome.  We also had Crown Pizza with the family late.
