On Thursday, July 31 we left for Bob's home area. We stayed in Beaver Brook Campground. www.beaver-brook.com/
This was a challenging traveling trip. We found fuel in New Hampshire that was cheaper than neighboring states. Our use of the Gas Buddy App was perfect. Our GPS showed various ways to get to our campground from Interstate 95. We were using RV, and phone gps. Neither gps agreed with the other. We got off the interstate by phone gps and missed one critical turn. This caused us to revert to the RV gps. As we followed the gps it turned us onto a gravel road. We traveled 15 - 20 miles on a dirt road that was one lane at times. The overhead items were clear. At the end of the gravel road we discovered the campground was down to the right on another gravel road. We made it but traveled the area in a round about way to the campground.
After setting up camp We went to Bob's home to have hamburgers. It was great visiting the family and discussing our travel day. We learned where we made our mistakes. Bob and Christie had already set up to be off several days so we had fun as a group.
We went to the Maine Wildlife Park. There were many animals that were indigenous to Maine. We ate pizza on the way home. Ashley and Christian spent the night with us playing card games until late.
The next morning after breakfast Ashley and Christian went swimming at the campground pool. Afterwards we played charades together. Bob and family attended a graduation party that afternoon. They came back to the campground and we had a fire and hamburgers. We all made smores for dessert. Ashley and Christian stayed playing cards until late.
Sunday morning we decided to have breakfast out. Ashley and Christian chose Dunkin Donuts. We went to Wilford for our breakfast out. That afternoon we all went to Christie's sister
home, Bobbie. Her daughter CJ was having her seventh birthday. We had last seen her when she was a toddler. It was a lot of fun seeing the family again and seeing how much they had grown. That night we had hamburgers at Bobbie's house with the family. Ashley and Christian spent the night with us, and we stayed up late playing cards.

On Monday, August 4 Bob and Christie took off from work. We went hiking and Geocaching with the family. It was a nice walk in a pretty nice wooded area. We found several caches. Bob's family is good at finding them.
Nikki and the children came up on Tuesday. They arrived about like us, but less lost than us. Ashley stayed with us while Christian attended a birthday party. We met Nikki at Burger King before our Walmart trip. That night we all cooked out at the campground and made a fire. It was a nice family gathering of Bob and Nikki family. Jason had to work though. We also celebrated Robert's birthday early with a cake and ice cream. The singing was great.
Of course the children enjoyed the campground pool.
